Speakers: Bryston Tiny A $990 Per Pair
(13.5h, 8.5w, 8.2d, 8 ohms)
Listening to a system in the NEAR FIELD can be a treat. If you want to hear a singer, singing TO YOU, in an intimate space, a near field system is tough to beat.
Especially, if you are chained to your computer a fair amount of the day, take some pain and suffering out of your life with an exquisite music system.
For a near field system to do its magic, we start with small, highly transparent speakers. Just the ticket are the gorgeous Bryston Tiny As. They’re small, but not tiny plastic toys. Tiny A has the same high quality Titanium tweeter used in bigger, louder Bryston speakers. It uses a cast frame, 6.5” Pure Aluminum woofer. Both drivers are made in house by Bryston in Canada and come with a 20 year warranty. The sound is open, airy and yet will surprise you with a SWIFT KICK when you ask for it!

At $1200 this is in line stage configuration. You can add a DAC or phono board, but most likely you’ll choose not to.
