Our best selling integrated amp in 2024 is a no contest, slam dunk winner- Atoll IN300. It runs $4500, has an on board DAC and competes head to head with Macs, Brystons and other top brands for double the price.

SDA300 is exactly what you would expect, an IN300 with Atoll’s superb streamer built in.

Let’s cut to the chase. Many products that offer streamers don’t work well. They cough, sputter and lose signal if you sneeze at them. The Brits in particular are famous for making decent sounding all in one devices- but the streamer portion is unreliable- which means annoying as Hades if not worthless.

Who wants to fight with a streamer that drops signal as often as not?

We have a number of SDA200s and SDA300s out in the field now. To a man, each person who has bought these Atolls has thanked us and raved about them. They’re invariably driving serious loudspeakers like Brystons and Magnepans. What great combos!

Before we had the SDA models to offer, we sold hundreds of Bluesound streamers with various integrated amps. The Bluesounds work great. You can still buy a Bluesound and connect it to an Atoll integrated and you’re in business. It’s a great pairing and I recommend it highly.

But, if you want to do it all in one box and enjoy the album art on the face, you might prefer Atoll’s SDA200 or SDA300.

The differences between these two models is mostly in the muscle. Please read Dave’s Faves articles on IN200 and IN300. The integrated amps within the SDA models are the same.

In short, SDA300 gives you about 25% more horsepower for the extra investment. If your speakers are hungry and/or the money isn’t a problem, by all means go for SDA300.
